Call for Proposals: Host the IEEE IES SYP Congress 2026

The IEEE Industrial Electronics Society (IES) is pleased to announce the Call for Proposals to host the 3rd edition of the IEEE IES Students and Young Professionals (SYP) Congress, to be held in 2026.

This international three-day event brings together students, young professionals, academic researchers, and industry leaders to foster collaboration, innovation, and knowledge exchange in the field of industrial electronics and related technologies.

About the IEEE IES SYP Congress

The IES SYP Congress is designed to provide a high-impact experience focused on technical advancement, leadership development, and professional networking. The program typically includes:

  • Keynote speeches from academic and industry experts
  • Technical and professional development workshops
  • Panel discussions on emerging technologies and career growth
  • Networking sessions with peers, professors, and professionals
  • Social and cultural activities to build community and foster global engagement

As the host chapter, your Organizational Unit (OU) will play a pivotal role in delivering this enriching experience to the global IES community.

How to Apply

Interested Organizational Units and Student Branch Chapters are invited to submit a detailed proposal using the official submission form. A comprehensive proposal manual is also available to guide you through the process.

Submission Deadline: July 20, 2025

The selection process will be based on the strength, feasibility, and vision presented in the submitted proposals.
